Clutch plates set of 4

These Surflex B clutch plates are our preferred clutch plates.

We recommend soaking them in gear oil overnight before fitting them.

If you are changing your clutch plates because you are experiencing clutch slip then we recommend changing your clutch springs at the same time, for the cost just change them any way.

If you experience, clutch drag, Ie: stalling when putting into gear or pulling away with the clutch in try these tips.

Try a 2.5mm or 2.00mm top plate.
Swap the clutch steels for 1.20mm or 1mm clutch steels.
Use a nylon lined clutch cable and route it smoothly with no tight kinks.
Try a MB clutch lever or Yamaha clutch lever conversion.
Or try a MB clutch spider and pressure plate and use a mixture of clutch plate/steels to gain a 5 - 7 plate kit.

Clutch kit, 5 plate for MBD clutch assemblies

We recommend this 5 plate clutch kit to suit our MBD Race-Tour internal clutch assembly.

This kit should work quite well up around 25bhp.

It comes complete with:

• Surflex B clutch plates
• 3mm top plate
• 1.5mm clutch steels MB type
